It's very annoying that the first gig won't be in the UK, or if it is, will undoubtably be whilst I am in Catalunya.

but why should it? from what i remember, Pulp really emerged in France, so it's a nice gesture i thought.

Ha ha! James have you gone mad?! 'Do You Remember The First Time?' is the obvious set opener and I'd imagine with festivals + reunion shows = obvious to be the theme of the day!

Anyone want to split the cost of renting a car from Barcelona and back for this?

I will be in Barcelona for Primavera. Is there any way I can swing this and make it back to Barcelona early on the 26th? The bus is 80 euros and doesn't return until 1530, which is too late because I really need to be back by noon at the latest? Are there any cheaper ways to travel?

There's a train leaves Toulouse at 6.54am on the 26th, gets in Barcelona 11.48, one change at Narbonne. Not that cheap though, 65 English pounds one way. See Rail Europe site for further details.

I'd potentially be interested in a car share but only the Toulouse to Barcelona direction. Might be a long drive winding through the Pyranees though, and there's a border to cross. Paying a little extra for the train is often worth it.

Yeah, I don't have an extra couple hundred dollars to spend traveling a short distance. That bus should cost 20 euros tops.

The second sale should start in "the middle of the week", according to the french magazine MAGIC (http://www.magicrpm.com/infos/pulp/des-places-pour-le-concert-au-bikini-de-toulouse-remises-en-vente)

The venue just send a e-mail to all the buyers of a ticket : "The show will happen but we can not communicate about it (not on our website, not on press, even not on social networks...). We are sorry for the inconvenience" (hope the translation is good).
Still not know when the second sale will happen.

Bad news : more tickets are avalaible, but only for people in the Toulouse area (no "mail-order selling", I mean nothing by phone or internet).
The tickets are sold at the venue or at the FNAC in Toulouse.

I'm going. Only getting to Toulouse in the afternoon then heading off to Barcelona next morning so just there for the show really. Booked in Hotel Castellane which is in the town centre and not too far from the train/bus station which is important for me.

Bikini, where the concert is, is a few miles out of town it appears. I believe there is a metro service with a stop nearby though.

Can't wait for this show, two weeks today and Pulp are back!

Sore throat and hangover ...... perfect! Was an absolutely awesome concert. Their stage presence is strong as ever and the venue was intimate but lively at the same time. Lots of chatting (in French and English) and great humour. I haven't danced like that since I saw them in 1995! One of the best concerts that I have been to in a long, long time. A great band and people are in for a treat at the forthcoming gigs. A strong set list from start to end ..... and 2 hours long! The best 28 that I have ever spent!!!!
