I've been at Glastonbury for the past 2 years and will be going again this year. I don't really mind who is headlining the Pyramid - as I found that you don't really spend much time in front of it! (although it would have been nice to see Pulp headline it.

My prediction of them doing the Other Stage - which I would love as I like it over there far more - is looking less likely with Primal Scream, The Strokes and Arcade Fire being the rumoured candidates there. I guess we'll have to wait and see but I'd be suprised if they don't play!

As I've said elsewhere, they're almost definitely there but it looks like they're going to be on before Beyonce on the Sunday night. I agree they'd have been better headlining the Other Stage but the headliners there look likely to be Primal Scream, Chemical Brothers and Libertines. Strokes are probably only doing Leeds and Reading, and Arcade Fire are probably on before U2. I'm just going to look at Pulp as being the Sunday headliner anyway!

Elbow supporting U2 on the Friday according to Q magazine.

If there was a choice between playing/headlining Leeds/Reading or being second on the bill at Glasto which would Pulp prefer? Taking money out of the equation, both festivals hold good memories for the band. Glasto '95 helped make them and they went back as a genuine headline act three years later but Leeds/Reading debuted Common People in '94, gave a fantastic reception to new songs such as Sunrise in 2000 and was the last big festival they played before bowing out in 2002.

True... the other side of the coin being that Glasto is lovely and Leeds/Reading is, these days at least, absolutely horrible.

What Mark says, even if Pulp were to headline Leeds and Reading but not Glasto, I don't think I could ever set foot at Leeds festival again, it's vile on the whole!

I have to say I think the headliners are a little dull for my own taste. Though Glastonbury is all about so much more than the main stage. I still think Pulp will play, and my prediction is the Park Stage, or Other Stage. If it is the Park Stage I wouldn't be surprised if it is unannounced ('TBA' on the line-up, as Thom Yorke was in 2010).
