hehe, dont say that, you know what we gonna ask for now ! (how did you get it by the way if that's asking too much ?)
Here's an idea for Pulp if they're reading: take those two songs (cuckoo, quiet revolution) and include them on a new album. They need to be released properly.
Ive nearly the full demo, just missing Darren and Birds In Your Garden - the demo for Wickerman is far superior to the released version too - Scott Walker really did fuck up We Love Life with some tracks, but others he saved.
Quiet Revolution just would not fit on We Love Life - maybe released as a B Side, I dont know - some songs didnt deserve to be shelved.......look at After You, Cuckoo, Quiet Rev........ yet they released things like Weeds 2, I Love Life and Weeds..........go figure.
That's fantastic, cheers. I actually like Pulp drenched in reverb - makes me think of HnH (:
Yeah but after all these years imagining what they would sound like, i thought it'b more natural sounding, closer to the live performances we got. Oh well, it's still amazing.

The whole demo has an electro / acoustic sound to it - sunriise is unrecognisable to its released counterpart. I think the demo blows the live version away
Someone leaked After You and My Mistake here a couple of years back, and they had that electro/ acoustic vibe you mention.
I just listened to WLL again few mins ago and though i prefer it now than when it was released, i must say the direction the demos where heading to were much more interesting, but it would have been a poppier album, and i dont think they wanted that.
My Mistake and After You were leaked from someone either IN the band or assotiated with the band - shame that the person got harrased to fuck and bombarded with negativity etc - Trixy i think the person was called......
I adore My Mistake - its on my ipod alot lol. I dont think the album would have been "pop" with After You, Cuckoo etc - they wanted a natural feel to the album, and they fucked around with that bleeding sample from Trees for ages, it was used in the Walker Meltdown festival which I had once, no idea where its gone. If only they concentrated on the album as much as that one ........ sigh !!!
Weeds, Origin, and I love Life ruin the album for me.
