Anyone win tickets for this?
I think it's Jarvis' first gig since last December (save for the thing he did with Air), and though it's not a stand-alone concert of his own you'd imagine he'll play a decent number of songs.

Has he written anything new this decade I wonder? I wouldn't be surprised if Tim's sudden death has put songwriting to the back of his mind this year.

I thought the point of the show was that all the artists were all going to cover American/Southern roots rock and blues standards?

I didn't know about it being covers either! I wonder what they choose.

I feel I should let people know that there are currently photos on Facebook of them warming up for the gig.

It came up on my feed but presume you can get to it by joing to a Jack Daniels Set page or something!

i'm pretty usre the JD set is just a kind of intimate gig. nothing to do with covers.

i saw I Am Kloot play one and its was just a normal gig in a small venue, in the middle of the afternoon if memory serves

Hmm..did I post the same video twice? Don't remember it appearing that way first time round. The Later thing was fairly brief anyway, it's on youtube if you want to see it.
