There is a bootleg of this gig doing the rounds - not the best of quality but it was interesting to hear Bob Lind live - I remember hearing it on a soundcheck when I went to watch Pulp @ Manchester Apollo on the WLL tour, and it did sound spectacularly horrible - which is possibly the reason why they didnt play it all that often. Pink Glove was also tried but never saw the light of day on the WLL tour.
Shall try and get it off my Ipod and upload.
Oh and since when do we have to have permission to be sarcastic these days Sturdy?

They played it on a Peel (or other radio 1) session didn't they? I don't remember it sounding particularly bad. I may still have it on cassette - will investigate!
I think Bob Lind is probably the most under-rated song on WLL. Something about the production is not quite right on the album but it's a fine song, the jangly guitars sound great and in an alternate universe it would have ended-up with the likes of Birds, My Mistake, Cuckoo and Roadkill on a more acoustic, stripped-down album.
I've never heard a live performance of it though, and I think this concert is the only bootleg in existence with a live recording of Bob Lind as it was barely ever played live.
