Just found this gig listing for the 1 in 12 club in Bradford. It's not listed on the Pulp wiki.

17th January 1985.

I'm just edting this post again, much to my suprise also at the top of the listing is a group called I.C.I. This is the second ever gig the Nine O'Clock Service band ever played..

Just checked in Truth & Beauty and it does seem to be listed there.

On a related note, Mark, are there (m)any Pulp gigs that took place which you only found out about after the book came out and so aren't listed in the gigography?

Nope, very few. The only ones that spring to mind are this one, the extra details that turned up regarding the '83 Chesterfield wine bar record attempt, and that early '87 Leadmill thing.

Other than that I think the list is mostly complete - certainly up to 1982/3 (thanks mainly to the detailed records that Wayne Furniss kept), and from about 1988 onwards (as the band's own records were more complete from that point). Between '84 and '87 there may be a few missing as I put the list together myself, mainly from the gig listings in the Sheffield Star and old flyers/posters in the Pulp Scrapbook. In particular I think there might be a couple of missing dates from the Hull Adelphi, and possibly the Hammersmith Clarendon. It'll all turn up one of these days I'm sure!
