Are we pretty sure Discosong is the very end of the set at the moment, then?
Only I may try to leg it halfway thru it if it is, as I'd really love to avoid a 40 quid taxi if possible! What do people think the chances are of Jarvis being done by half ten?!
Doors 7, support 8, Jarvis 9? Would really help my wallet if I'm back at Waterloo to catch the 23:15!

Do we know if he has been having one or two supports so far...?

I thought it was The Horrors? I hadn't heard anything else?

My experience in Hamburg: 9 support, 10 Jarvis, 11:15 end.

Well hopefully as doors are open at 7, we won't have to wait 2 hours until the support. Fingers crossed.

Last night in Brighton it was just one support - The Horrors. Discosong was at the very end of the set, and I was out the venue by about 10.45.

Got a grape handed round from Jarvis, and swig of his beer that was handed around too - god knows what I may have caught now, but  hey ho! Jarvis rocked, and the songs from F.C. sound great live - he really does them justice with the vocals. He opened the set with Pilchard, to which he does an insane dance, Jarvis style. Also in the set was Big Stuff, which sounded more rocked-up then the last time I remember hearing it (I think - it was a long while ago now).

He's often fashionably late mind you!

Discosong

Yes, I did make the train! By about half a minute, by dint of leaving halfway thru Discosong. Good gig, but they do drag it out, don't they...people have to get home!
Thought the support were pretty good, very like early Blur crossed with Happy Mondays.
Okay, I'm off on holiday now, bye!
