I remember I saw something once that I thought was a great idea. Vinyl copies of Wincing The Night Away by The Shins came with a leaflet inside the sleeve giving you a unique code to enter online so that you could download the music digitally as well. I hope that this may become more and more commonplace...!

In Holland there's a recordcompany where you'll get the cd for free when you buy a record.

All the back to black vinyl re-releases have this.  I have a couple in my pocket for The Who/Quadraphenia and Nirvana/Nevermind that I must get around to using.  The Killers also had the same on their last album though it expired at the end of May....

The latest Bob Dylan album, Together Through Life, gave away a CD with the vinyl, but the album  was pretty expensive (£35).

Still hoping this track turns up on spotify/we7, but no joy yet.
