Just a thought. Possibly a silly one.

Probably quite a lot of people on here have got near-complete Pulp collections, with one or two things proving elusive, and perhaps even a few spare items. Maybe we should all post on here to say what we're missing and what we wouldn't mind getting rid of, and perhaps some exchanges could be arranged.

Here, I'll start.

I want:

My Lighthouse 7"*
Dogs Are Everywhere 12" (normal stock copy)

I wouldn't mind getting rid of:

Dogs Are Everywhere white label 12" (with press release)
My Legendary Girlfriend stock 12" (with 2 different press releases!)
Imminent 4 LP
Fruitcakes & Furry Collars LP

Anyone?

*Yeah, like anyone's got a spare copy of that

Can we include tickets? I would quite like to swap my Brighton ticket for a Troxy one (standing only).

The guy who ran the record shop that used to be down my road had 5 copies of it once upon a time (!)

Haha...no. Round about 2001!

I was amazed. If I'd had more money at the time, and not just a Sunday part time job, I would have bought more than one copy for investment.

After I bought it off him he said "Oh, I've got another Pulp single somewhere you might like then too". At best I was expecting maybe a copy of Master Of The Universe or something like that, but then he pulled out a copy of Everybody's Problem! Couldn't believe my luck.

I remember i blew my whole months wages on that one day...on a leather jacket and two Pulp singles!

That is ridiculously fortunate. Us mere mortals have to make do with the one copy per year or so that comes up on Ebay!

So... anyone else got anything they want to swap?

How much is the My Lighthouse single worth?

It seems to go on Ebay for about £35 these days.

I got my copy of My Lighthouse on eBay a few years ago for about £18, which seems fairly cheap.  Although it's got 'Promo only: not for resale' stamped on the front, which must affect its value.

I've got hardly anything that I want to get rid of. The only things that come to mind are:

A spare set of the Pulp Scrapbooks (if you don't know, they are an extensive collection of newspaper/magazine clippings from between 1980 and 1994 issued by the Pulp People Fan Club).
I've got two copies of Bad Cover Version single CD1. Not very interesting, I know.

And for what it's worth, l'm looking for:
Little Girl (With Blue Eyes) EP
There are a few Pulp People newsletters that I would like to get hold of. Specifically, numbers 15 to 17 & 19 (and 1 to 4, as well - I don't suppose anybody is going to part with those).

I've got a lot of spare Pulp People fanzines but I won't be home for at least another month. When I am, I'll put up here which ones I have duplicates of.

I'd love some Pulp People newsletters but don't have anything to swap unfortunately. I think my physical Pulp collecting (rather than just songs and videos) will have to wait a few years, I already obsessively collect Belle and Sebastian and Elvis Costello stuff.

The only thing I'm really missing that's not due to me being lazy about buying it is obtaining a copy of the CD acetate or promo that only has My Body May Die on it, but listed on the front as "Barry Crusoe (Howie B Mix)."

If anyone is will to sell a copy of that or knows where to find it, please let me know, as I would be most grateful.

I'm sorry, I don't really have anything to trade though besides the Countdown CD single, which I don't think is worth all that much to most.

I'd love an mp3 of Pulp at Leeds 2000 as I've only got a crap tape copy and the rapidshare link is rubbish.

I can only offer this link to a rar of Homelands in return.

Best version of FCL ever I think.

I'm probably wasting my time with this one but it's worth a try...

I am after a copy of Bath University - 16th January 1982 or The Limit - 13th April 1982 or anything that contains some very early Pulp rarities. Pretty much anything from before "It" that wasn't released (I already have "What Do You Say?", "Sickly Grin" and the Peel Session songs from 1981).

I can offer money and I also have a few rarities that are not really in circulation.

Hi,

while searching the net for Pulp vinyl I found this site (Darumaya) which has the We Love Life, incorrectly named as We Love You, for sale (We Love Life LP). I have contacted them and by their information the LP is new. Since I have managed to get a copy of this LP from another source I'm sharing this find I anybody is interested, mind you it's not a bargain price.

Were those gigs definitely taped Ian? If so I imagine from this forum only Mark has heard them (probably through ex-Pulp associates when writing the book).

Hi Sarah - the complete Leeds 2000 concert is in the BarItalia2007 Yahoo! account.

Could you re-post that Rapidshare link to the Homelands show? It's disappeared already.

Rapidshare file has been wiped. Will try and post to Baritalia 2005 soon as. May have to do it song by song.

EDIT: All posted to baritalia2005.

I've got a spare "My Lighthouse" 7" if anyone's interested. I have all the Pulp singles and albums so I'm not interested in any of those but if any of you think that you may have something I'd be interested in, please just PM me.

I do have a copy of the Your Secret's Safe With Us double LP which was bought, bizarrely, new in a record shop in North Wales and had been sitting there for 20-odd years.

If I could swap it for something prettier, I'd be willing...
