The fact that the last thing the guy was aware that Jarvis had done was writing lyrics for Charlotte Gainsbourg's album pissed me off. If he's going to spend time interviewing him you imagine he'd know that his first solo record has since come out.
Jarvis' answer to the 'Pulp question' is admirably consistent.
Disheartening though that any old uninformed gobshite can grab a few minutes of his time and ask him things that he's been asked a thousand times before whereas if he came on here we could quiz him on genuinely obscure stuff that i'm sure he'd appreciate - like what substances he was on during the writing and recording of 'Silence'.
I'd like to think he meant "pleasure" but unfortunately "legend" is one of these words like "epic" and "random" that is completely overused and misused in modern parlance. And always by nobs like that.
