I have promised myself that at some point next year I will hold a Pulp night.

I have a succusful music night in Newcastle but I have a feeling that Newcastle would never be ready for a proper full on Pulp Night.

The idea is we'd have some live music and DJs (everything Pulpish).

The original idea was to hold the night in Sheffield, however I gathered that not many peeps on here are from (or anywhere near) Sheffield.

So where - in this fantasic Pulpy county should we go?

Suggestions please?

BTW - Steve this pick of me looking slighty bedraggled is for you!

Funny- That's just what I was think when my mate insisted on taking my picture outside! We went to see Ricky Gervais at the Apollo that night and I almost fell asleep! For those of you who may be expecting the DVD of 'Fame' for Christmas, it's no-where near as good as 'Politics'!

I'm beginning to think there maybe little call for a Pulp Night anywhere in this country right now! Still I will be persistant on the subject!

London or Reading would be the easiest for me to get to!
Preferably London, 'cos although Reading is waaaaaaaaaay easier to get to, the last train back is 2334, which'd be kinda pants!

You would think that it has to be a choice between Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and London. I will definately be there if this happens! :)

Ha ha, we've never attempted any Pulp songs before.....but we are doing a session for The Download Show soon & one song will be a cover. We haven't decided what to do yet though. I hadn't planned on covering a Pulp song but it would be fun doing one.
