I've been challenging myself to go back and listen to old Pulp songs that I've either ignored, forgotten about or outright dismissed. To be honest, it's been a long time since I listened to anything Pulp, but there are some songs I haven't heard in years.
Some of it's been enlightening (for instance, I just realized "The Heavy" contains a reference an old Hollies song) but I've also realized that I've lost a lot of my songs... The songs which were housed on my old hard drive are now filling up a landfill, and most of my early CDRs are scratched or crumbling.
One such CDR had my only existing copies of "Born to Cry" & "All Time High". No huge loss, but I would like to listen to them again. Would anyone with an mp3 of those tunes care to share them in the bar italia account?
Not being a smart-arse but when I was looking for 'The Loss Adjuster' a couple of months back you said you had taken it from a music blog but couldn't post the link to it (never mind put it in the bar italia account) because it was against the rules of this board. Has this changed because you've lost a couple of songs?
I've not heard All Time High for two or three years like yourself and don't have it in any form - maybe it's not available commercially though I'm pretty sure Born To Cry is.
Strange. That doesn't sound like me. I didn't get Loss Adjuster from a blog... And I did try to put Loss Adjuster in the Bar Italia account but unfortunately the file was too big to upload to yahoo.
I'll have to go back and review my comments to be sure, but I think you are misshaping me for someone else.
My parents have got the Notting Hill soundtrack. Never realised anything decent was on it, untill I heard of this song Born To Cry. I regard it as one of Pulp's best.
