A very, very modest debate is brewing on my Pulp blog. Have an opinion either way? Feel free to add a comment!

The defense rests.

I Spy easily. Great lyrics and great music. Wickerman is admirable, but the music is dull and doesn't get amazing until the end, during the climax.

I went to reply to this on numerous ocassions but it's impossible to choose one over the other. I *think* sometimes that I prefer the music to I Spy but then the music to Wickerman, while it may not sound as good minus the lyrics as I Spy would, it's still perfect and filmic for that particular story. Maybe I could say that I prefer I Spy musically by a fraction. I couldn't really choose which is better lyrically. They both read excellently without the music. Very tough question!

I feel the same way, it's like comparing your favourite desert to your favourite main course... don't make me choose... please...

edit: ... I feel too old nowadays to be calling myself "Ste"
