Come to think of it, it must have been pre taped as he's in California on Friday? Did anyone know, and did anyone go see the show / taping?

Awesome. I'm guessing they do "Don't Let Him Waste Your Time." I heard it this weekend on the radio at my parents' house this weekend. (on 88.5 WXPN, Philly's adult alternative station)

I don't think Letterman ever pre-tapes, and I don't think Jarv's limited clout in N. America warrants any special consideration.

Jarvis is performing at 8:00pm at Coachella, but that's 4 hours behind east coast time. And Letterman tapes around 3pm EST... maybe earlier on Fridays. What's a flight to LA? 3-4 hours? So if he heads straight to the airport after the show, he could conceivably be in California by 6pm PST.

It sounds to me like Jarv is cutting it very close. Isn't Coachella an hour or two outside the LA area? And he'll be travelling through rush hour traffic in both NYC and LA. Maybe they chartered a helicopter? Maybe he plans to keep us all in suspense?

Or like I said, maybe they film Letterman early on Fridays.

Well according to Jarvis (last nite on stage), "Don't Let Him Waste Your Time" was taped yesterday afternoon and should've aired that evening.

It's not on youtube yet, when's it airing in the UK? I don't know how far behind we are, but it does get repeated over here.

Taped the show last night and he wasn't on, and according to the website, should be airing Fri. April 27th

Not sure who "Doyle" is, but...

Pulp did "Common People" on Letterman in '96. The guy from Elastica played drums -- Nick was getting married. I have it on tape somewhere.

They played "Party Hard" on Conan O'Brien. I've never seen that, but I later learned some friends of mine were at that taping.

At the Seattle show tonight Jarvis commented on the fact that he probably won't be invited to Letterman again, since he went into that crouch with his arse pointed at him and it looked like he was snubbing Dave's handshake. Kinda funny.

Too tired to go into too much detail at the moment - set list virtually the same as other shows, but the cover at the end was Jimi Hendrix' "Purple Haze" - needless to say, it rocked.
