Hasn't Jarvis said he's playing some UK festivals this year?
Anyone know which? I'm going to Reading so I hope he does Carling Weekend.
Also going to Download, tho' I'm pretty sure he won't play that one! I have very varied musical taste. Which is good, right?
Had a great time at the Astoria show, although I missed the first support band 'cos the trains were rubbish.
Were they any good?
I really really thought Jarvis was gonna play a Sultans song, I'd've loved to hear him play Where's Me Jumper?, that would've been fantastic. Still, Big Julie and Paranoid made my day anyway!

Well if he seems to be playing covers of local songs (Human League in Sheffield, Magazine in Manchester etc), then Where's Me Jumper? would have to be at an Irish gig (Cork strictly, but I live in Dublin, so that would be best).

No Cork would do just fine. The Savoy would be intimate yet decent-sized. More to the point it's only 10 minutes down the road!

Surely there are better Irish songs than Where's Me Jumper... Whiskey In The Jar for one, or indeed anything else by Thin Lizzy (Boys Are Back In Town?). Divine Comedy might be a bit too recent... Pogues?
