I just saw the pictures on the PulpWiki and I wondered could anybody tell me something about this?

It was great - tonnes of great archive footage of British pop TV shows from the last fifty years, including the kind of obscure footage you'd never end up seeing on TOTP2, mixed with Jarvis' unique wry commentary and interviews with "pop people".

The highlight of what I saw was a genuinely startling rendition of David Bowie's Golden Years by Peter Glaze from an old episode of Crackerjack. Cocker's a really welcome presence on this type television; amusing, knowledgeable and enthusiastic on the subject matter. He points out at one point: "This is a history lesson not nostalgia. Nostalgia is a mugs game".

It was transmitted before the days of youtube (July 2005) and no one could be arsed transfering it from their digiwhatsit box to the pc. Just as well, as from what I remember it was pretty unmemorable.
