He interviews an assortment of fellow hoarders and is interviewed himself, all part of the press for Good Pop, Bad Pop of which there seems to be plenty. Also a Spotify playlist of defining songs with quite a lot of what you might expect. It includes Tunnel, one of my absolute favourites. I am always intrigued as to what his relationship now is with some of the early material. Several songs have had outings for various reasons, either a tie in with a venue or on Wireless Nights say, so maybe he has got over some of the trauma of the Fire era and can appreciate some of the songs again.

Nice pics here on Instagram of a massive pile of books being signed.

Great interview with him. Apparently Olivia has a book out the same day.

Are there really 368 pages in Good Pop Bad Pop as per the different resellers websites (Waterstone did have it as 250 approx. previously)? Seems like a lot, the more the better I think. Maybe there's lots of photos of les objets.

Holy fuck, an audio clip from a late-70s Pulp rehearsal aired on the Radio 4 extract today (a few seconds of ramshackle music and an exclamation of shock by a pubescent voice as the sun streamed into the practice room).

Presumably that's also contained in the audiobook and hopefully there are other audio excerpts from Pulp's library.

If he's held onto that, God knows what other treasures are in the Pulp archive...

The Pulp iceberg only gets longer and longer it seems. If that exists, lord knows how much of the early and late 80s he's got in his arsenal.

The It era still remains a mystery...

I was reluctantly avoiding those radio 4 promos because I'm going to one of the book tour dates..
I wanted everything to be fresh and new..
Anywho, i relented last night and listened to them all, of course they were entertaining, the audio clip very brief but reassuring that he does appear to be suitably detached from these ancient tapes to share a little snippet..
But I'm a greedy man and now i just want more & more..
Anyroad, it serves as a taster for the book tour date, which I'm looking forward to now even more...

So it seems there is going to be an exhibition of all said objects in London somewhere! How's that for your greed?

Looks great, I can't see if you need to book ahead of visiting and whether there is an admission fee.

It's free to enter, I popped along on Friday evening. Well worth a visit, there are plenty of Pulp relics there!
