Ultimate Live DVDRelease: 20 June 2005
Number: 0602498296165
Running Time: 195 minutes
Format: PAL DVD Regions 2-6

DVD re-issue of 'F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.I.V.E' and 'The Park Is Mine'.

A hastily compiled DVD re-issue of Pulp's two tour videos. Irritatingly the 'F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.I.V.E' section of the DVD appears to suffer from a manufacturing flaw which means that the playback of the entire concert is noticeably slower than the original VHS release. As the songs are slower they have a lower pitch making Pulp sound out of key and ruining what was an otherwise magnificent concert. Thankfully the playback of 'The Park Is Mine' doesn't suffer from the same inexcusable amateurism. The sound and picture quality are a vast improvement on the VHS releases, but I'd only recommend buying this for those who want a copy of The Park Is Mine on DVD. Two steps forward, one back...

Hmmmmmm.... Now when I think of it, I think I have only ever watched this dvd for when feeling nostalgic after a few drinks. This would at least explain why I have never noticed!

But hm, that's hard to notice when you're watching it, indeed. Too many things happening on stage to concentrate only on sound.

Other thing is when you've seen it live.... oh yes, i'm sure that could make some difference for you;)

decided to have a look at today (whist sober) And yes, indeedy - it is rather irritating!

How made this dvd - it does have a bit of an unofficail air about it. I bought it in Doncaster bout a year ago - just spotted it on the shelves in hmv (yes i was drunk when i bought it along with some stupid posters that got ruined on the train on the way home!)

Thank God I still have the VHS versions of this! FEELINGCALLEDLIVE is great! But I think I played it to death when it 1st came out on VHS so it doesn't get out of the box much these days!

Did anyone sort out exactly how much slower the 'F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.I.V.E' section of the DVD is? Must be possible to fix it a bit. Cheers.
