Cocker also debuts an unexpected cover... Jarvis Cocker's debut UK solo gig saw a partial Pulp reunion at London's KOKO club last night (November 15).
Cocker showcased a selection of songs from his debut album 'Jarvis', joined by Pulp bassist Steve Mackay and auxiliary guitarist Richard Hawley. Pulp's keyboard player Candida Doyle also joined the band on 'From A To I'.
After returning for an encore, Cocker teasingly told the crowd he was going to play an old song, before clarifying that it would not be one of his.
Cocker and his band then launched into a faithful version of David Bowie's 1969 hit 'Space Oddity'.
The full set was as follows:
'Fat Children' 'Don't Let Him Waste Your Time' 'Heavy Weather' 'One Man Show' 'I Will Kill Again' 'From A To I' 'Tonite' 'Big Julie' 'Disney Time' 'Big Stuff' 'Black Magic' 'Running The World' 'Space Oddity'
