It just occurred to me that since we know now that Mr. Cocker knows about this site and that he logs onto the internet at least once a month, he might read some of our comments here. Are you out there, sir?
Few months back when Watching Nicky pop up here, it made me wonder if it was in fact 'someone' within PULP who shared it. Did it not seem strange that such an obscure song pops up, and then becomes part of the remasters? Cocker is in fact watching...........................(so please come to Canada)
In my dreams, I was drowning my sorrows, but my sorrows they learned to swim
Waves of regrets, Waves of joy
I reached out to the one I tried to destroy
You, you said you'd wait
Until the end of the world
i met jarvis four years ago on some small greek island. its got nothing to do with the topic, but if you remember that jarvis, then i'll buy you a drink in paris, as i live not too far away from you
God! Jarvis watches this site! Can't believe he is actually here!.. It is better to be careful with our comments, isn't it? God, I want to see you live, Jarvis!

Nah no way, if jarvis was lurkin round here hed probably tell us all to go get lives or something! haha but you never know huh?.....*looks around furtively*
As I've mentioned here before, he asked onstage in 2001 at the City Hall in Newcastle why everyone was "going on about 'Pink Glove'".
It was here 'Pink Glove' was mentioned a lot in threads about what songs people would like to hear on that tour.
I know Morrissey lurks around fan forums dedicated to him but he's quite vocal about it. He even ended up releasing a statement last year to put posters straight on his royalties court case.
I don't think Jarvis is quite so self indulgent tho. It's possible, but I doubt it somehow. I don't think he could be arsed what we say!
I think he reads this messageboard in semi-detached amusement.
Late at night, when Camille is tossing and pulling at the sheets and Jarvis can't sleep, he probably pours himself a glass of whiskey and settles in for some netsurfing. He might try to avoid Pulp messageboards, but lets face it, there ain't much to see on the internet. It's all terribly boring. So inevitably he'll end up back here, reading these posts, just like we do.

Look, if you were a rock-star you'd do it too.
If there was a board on me, I'd read it all the time!
Some rock starts do read and encoourage the boards/forums, until something untoward is written (which is normally true) and then censor it all. Another board on which I do admin had a situation with cancelled concerts due to poor ticket sales. The old administrator who was on the payroll deleted all the related threads and removed the forum link from the official site. Fortunately I had access to the main password, so changed it and reinstated the threads, and they lost any control they previously had. The tour manager proceded to call me a knobhead! I haven't been in their good books for a while now.
It's possible Jarvis (and other Pulp members) read the board or at the very least get told about some of the stuff on it. They may even post. But be thankful they don't interfere.

Ryan Adams did interfere on a fan site message board and he did take some shit. He only shut it down, because there were comments about his band mates and I believe some personal adresses were postded.
Ryan always talked to us, commented on us and he took critical comments on his choice of setlist and whatever. I thought it was great seeing him post on a message board and that he wanted to share some thoughts and time with us.
Just like Jarvis he is blogging on his website and I appreciate it. It makes me feel like he is one of us and not the 'great superstar'.
