Oddly, the article doesn't actually mention that he and Camille separated fairly quickly, so the story about him meeting Kim might be confusing if you didn't know that.
He is - he also asked the questions on that programme Jarvis did for Sky Arts circa 2009 when he played acoustic songs under the writer/presenter's watchful eye.
In his review of More he didn't get "My Sex" either. At least he asked Jarvis to explain it here.
Thanks for the link. I think that the most interesting quote is at the end "Well rehearse in January and see whether things are happening or not.". Even more on the way by the sounds of it...

Last time they barely said they were doing things there were recording an album. Soooo, already recorded ? And then rehearsing for the tour ? or rehearsing and recording ?
Looks like Jarvis now comes with fully formed songs, and they said he had a lot of material, so recording can be quicker.
Yes, and I think that the issues that they had with recording "This is Hardcore" and "We Love Life" are now firmly behind them given the seemingly pleasant experience of recording "More".

When I interviewed Mark last month he said they hadn't worked on any new stuff since More. They tend to manage expectations and aren't always fully truthful (ie denying the Glastonbury appearance for ages this year) so he might be bluffing but I do tend to believe him!
It will be curious to see if they consider looking at older, unreleased material again.
It's interesting that Jarvis was trying to revise the lyrics of Grown Ups in 2012 - much to Steve's bemusement.
