I was looking at some music on streaming yesterday and came across a Cherry Red compilation that featured "Everybody's Problem", I was quite surprised. "There Was" is also on one of their compilations.
Anyway, it got me thinking about the material that is missing. I am only considering singles, albums and compilations that were released by Pulp (including reissues and the Caff single for good measure).
Those in bold are not on streaming at all. Those not in bold have an alternative version available.
They Suffocate at Night (edit)
Tunnel (cut-up)
Manon re-recording (I assume that Fire made an error when archiving this song because the original version featured on all reissues/compilations and therefore appears on streaming)
Silence
OU (radio edit)
Sheffield: Sex City (instrumental)
My Legendary Girlfriend (soundcheck)
Sickly Grin
Back in LA
Turkey Mambo Momma
Refuse to Be Blind
The rest of the Peel compilation less "You're a Nightmare"
After You (Soulwax remix)
Open Strings
The Glastonbury 1995 set that was included with the "Different Class" 30th anniversary reissue less "Common People"
It's probably too early to include the B-sides to "The Man Comes Around" 12" just yet.
Sadly i have Apple music, but i have a rip of Loss Adjuster full song, but not lossless so that's that.
Thank you for the link, i only had a pretty poor MP3 of it. It sounds great. Still don't understand why this was not included on the record. Jarvis makes such weird choices...

Streaming is unbelievably fragile. Rights expire all the time and things regularly disappear. I'll always preserve my cds, records and drives of MP3s.
Totally. But those solo songs are not on CD either, only vinyls. Being a CD completist for some bands (not all) it really bothers me. Not so much a vinyl completist though.

You can nearly always find rips of vinyl b-sides to fill the gaps. I occasionally do my own (for on-the-road accessibility), but the usual torrent sites or even ripping from youtube uploads does the job. I tend to build my own personal anthologies of the bands I really like.

Yeah i know but i always find them to be not the best quality possible. Vinyl rips, there are so many factors that can alter the sound.
I think the Loss Adjustor rip i have is from a vinyl and there are so many bits missing. I know CD are getting a bad press, I'm not a vinyl purist, to me the CD version are the closest to what the artist intended to sound like. Especially noawdays with great affordable speakers or headphones CD should be the norm.
Oops, I forgot about "Please Don't Worry" being on the "It" reissue so I have removed that from my original list. I have also added the Soulwax remix of "After You".
"Loss Adjuster" appears to be on some platforms but not all.
One of the big advantages of You Tube Music is you can fill these gaps with uploads . High quality CD rips. Also a lot of these can be found on You Tube and the audio can be integrated into a playlist. Not always top quality, but generally good.
Not forgetting My Legendary Girlfriend (live soundcheck) from the Caff single, of course - you've already listed the B-sides.
This Is Glastonbury (aka Live at Glastonbury) is arguably the biggest omission; I'm surprised that's not surfaced at all. The version packaged with This Is Hardcore seemed to be everywhere at the time.
From international singles:
59 Lyndhurst Grove (Black Session) from the French Common People single
Sorted for E's & Wizz (Live at the Markthalle) from the German Disco 2000 single
and Do You Remember the First Time, Pencil Skirt, and I Spy (also live at the Markthalle) from the misprinted version of the above - I don't know how widespread this version actually was
There are half a dozen remixes from various 12" promos for Common People and Party Hard, which I think of as part of the single releases, but these are not much missed. I did argue for all of the above to be included in the streaming re-releases of the Island singles, but Mark wasn't having it.
It's all the tracks from compilation albums that I would really like to see brought into the fold and collected alongside Pulp's own releases someday. I see that the alternate album version of Like a Friend is on streaming, along with All Time High (from the Bond album) and Born to Cry (from the Notting Hill soundtrack), but it's a real shame that the albums featuring Le Roi Des Fourmis, My Body May Die and Grandfather's Nursery are not. And there are so many live and alternate versions of songs that are essential to the discography, in my opinion. If I oversaw the anthology box set you'd get several discs collecting all those, to really collect it all.
Nights of Suburbia, at least, is on Bandcamp courtesy of the Sheffield Tape Archive.
But yes, endless goodies on compilations. Not mentioned yet:
I Want You (Bad Maureen Demo) from Company Classics 3 (1984) Anorexic Beauty (Ping Pong Jerry demo) from Beware the Bacon Slicer (1986) Interview with Jarvis and Russell from Premspeak 1/Year One: The Best of Premonition Tapes (So Far) (1987-8) Don't You Want Me Anymore? (live at the Barracuda, Nottingham) from Oozing Through the Ozone Layer (1987)
(All the above, of course, are in the excellent Pulp Portfolios)
Do You Remember the First Time? (live at Sound City 94, Tramway, Glasgow) from The Radio 1FM Sessions, Vox (1994) Babies (Evening Session) from Evening Session: Priority Tunes (1992) I Spy (live on Later...) from Later... Volume One: Brit Beat (1996) Live Bed Show (live at V96, Chelmsford) from Long Live Tibet (1997) Sorted For E's & Wizz (live at Glastonbury 98) from The Glastonbury Broadcasts, Vol 1, NME (1999) Disco 2000 (Millennium Mix 1) from Hit Mixes 203 (1999) Disco 2000 (Millennium Mix 2 - Step 2K Mix) from Hit Mixes 204 (2000) Party Hard (Brothers in Rhythm Dub Mix) from House Nation 202 (1999) Party Hard (live at the Paleo Festival, Switzerland) from NME Exclusives! (2001) Babies and Sunrise (live at The Scala, London) from 4 Scott (2002) Lipgloss - Evening Session from Britpop at the BBC (2014)
I could be wrong but I think you have to track down physical copies of all of the above, they've not been rereleased digitally in the streaming era.

Soulseek is your friend. Many, if not all, are on there. And then upload to You Tube Music. And download. And listen wherever you are. Better still you don't have to pay for You Tube Music to listen to uploads.
