Well, "More" was very well received and it sounds like the US tour is going well. Hopefully, they have started to write a couple of new songs for the next album along the way.
Aw, just otherworldly amazing. I printed photos recently including the ones from the gig in June. Have one of yourself and myself, Eamonn! And my mother was looking at the photos and said that was a brilliant night and it was. They were really brilliant. I would love to be seeing them again. Love them and so happy they've come back to us again in the 2020s! Who'd have thought it years ago. And what an album.
I still listen to this album as background music while working/reading/cooking ... I also listen to The Divine Comedy and Suede's new albums since they were released. But I feel "More" is better.

Thinking about setting up a new forum entirely about Slow Jam. But then Id only have to set up another splinter-forum devoted solely to that moment the strings swell - just under a second after the word creation, but before come on lets have a threesome.
What an album indeed! Still listening to it regularly on my walk to work. That sustained feedback that leads off Spike Island really gets me going at 6.30 in the morning, hotly followed by the Pigeon Street boops and I'm dancing up the hill. That songsca 10/10 for my brain in the morning. It all just so listenable. I get to the end of Slow Jam by the time I arrive at work. So my work walk starts and ends with 10/10 songs and it has 10/10 songs during the middle of my walk. I know what I'm listening to tomorrow morning!
