Anyway - immediately getting down into setlist wonkism. Around 53 songs have been rehearsed (and some of them ditched). I'm guessing:
1-11 - the new album 12 - Open Strings 13-25 - Mis-Shapes, Common People, I Spy, Disco 2000, Something Changed, Sorted for E's and Wizz, F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.O.V.E., Underwear, Monday Morning, Bar Italia 26-32 - Joyriders, Lipgloss, Acrylic Afternoons, Have You Seen Her Lately, Babies, She's a Lady, DYRTFT?, Pink Glove 33-34 - Seconds, His 'n' Hers 35-36 - OU, Razzmatazz 37-38 - My Legendary Girlfriend, Countdown 39-45 - The Fear, Dishes, Help the Aged, This Is Hardcore, A Little Soul, Glory Days 46-47 - Like a Friend, We Are the Boyz 48-52 - Weeds, Weeds II, The Trees, Bad Cover Version, Sunrise 53 - My Lighthouse
From the sound of things, Acrylic Afternoons will be a tour staple - I mean, surely that's the one with the 'mellow bit in the middle' Candida means, as they used to give it a really drawn-out middle section back in the 90s?
The too-high one could be The Fear? And I know Nick loves My Legendary Girlfriend.
I wonder which ones have been dropped from contention. I hope Lipgloss has survived, though, and that somehow, one of Wickerman or David's Last Summer or Sheffield: Sex City is still in the roster. The thought of this nine-player Pulp never playing through one of the long talky odysseys... that'd be such a shame if it never happened.

Lovely interview. Thanks for sharing. Getting so excited now! I'll be watching for the setlist from Glasgow.
Spoiler
I'm glad they all got to chip on with suggested songs. It'd be mad to hear something like My Lighthouse. I know some people did back during the first reunion tour.
Lovely to hear a few bits about Russell too.

Great read, thank you Giles! I love how honest Candida is - just released a new album but will happily admit she's not keen on some of the songs! I admire that a lot.
Please don't leak spoilers from the Glasgow gig on other threads apart from its own one! Or please use the spoiler tags if they work (Ian?).
Without turning the thread into another setlist guessing game, the exciting bits for me in the interview are that the London shows are being professionally filmed, that this tour is going to be visually even more stunning than the last and that the band had nearly 20 songs written for the album.
Candida is keen on the fast/loud one that was recorded for More but Jarvis couldn't think of words for. So if they were to take a short break after the More campaign, they could come back to half an album's worth of material to potentially revive.
I also find it funny that Jarvis basically roped the rest of Pulp into a new album by stealth. That image of Mark saying to Candida "Can you hear that? He's playing a new song!" when Jarvis was about to foist Hymn Of The North onto unsuspecting bandmates, is hilarious. Such a chore being in Pulp ;)

I agree. The spoiler tags still work so I have applied them to a couple of the above posts. I have also edited the title of the Glasgow thread. As some people are not seeing them just yet, they may wish to go in without knowing anything about the choices they have made or songs played at previous shows.
states the amount of songs rehearsed so probably a spoiler for those expecting similar sets to previous shows
If you use the advanced editor when posting, there is an option for it. Oddly, it is blanked out for me right now but I am posting from my phone. Alternatively you can use (spoiler) and (/spoiler) in square brackets.
