Hi everyone, I'm Mike from Philadelphia. I used to post here long time ago. Haven't really been on here since the 2012 shows. Some of you may remember my old Pulp blog. It's now been restarted. I will start revising and posting song reviews in chronological order, more or less. Would love to get feedback, likes, etc. Here's the new location: musicfromabachelorsden.blog. Hi Mike, I think I remember you and the domain name - did you once have a list of Pulp songs, ranked? Forgive me if I'm getting that wrong, it was a site that looked very similar. Either way, more people spreading the good word is great! __________________

Hello again! So I've been playing with WordPress themes trying to find a free one that gets the blog as close as possible to what I consider an ideal look. It's not easy. I'm not a web or WordPress developer, and it seems they've moved away from themes that are easily modified. (I do pay for WordPress for my personal site and get some perks, but not really in a position to spend any more ATM.) Anyway, if a few people could take a look at the blog in its current state (link in my signature) and post their thoughts, I'd greatly appreciate. I also had a spanish music blog at wordpress (30 posts about Pulp songs, not too bad, although not as good as the long-missed https://pulpsongs.wordpress.com/) till blog reached its 10th anniversary and -not a coincidence, you can be sure, i'm that kind of men- on that day i published the post with which i had written about 1.000 songs. It was the perfect moment to say it was over. Well, why am I telling you this story? I don't remember...! I used there a free theme called THE COLUMNIST, but i think the one you are using looks great and it allows u to give some extra info (as the recording session) before clicking on post. Can´t wait to read more! __________________

Yeah, I think it's visually appealing, Mike, which is the first thing to draw someone in so if you're concerned about the look I think what you've got is really good already to be honest __________________

Thank you, Jean! Also, just a note that updates are pretty regular (for now) but I'm not planning on posting here everytime. However, today's post is about "My Lighthouse." Best way to keep up with updates is to follow the blog or the IG. I'm also continuing to tinker with the Wordpress theme and added a Links page.
