I thought Id drop this here in case anyone was interested. I have written a blog post on my experience following Pulp across America with my friends. Its quite a personal account, covering the many highs, with a couple of lows added in for good measure. I did seven shows on the tour and Ive documented round-ups of each gig as well.
Halfway through and enjoying it! Will finish it while I'm at an airport tomorrow, seems apt. It's hardcore though, I'll say that. And I'm glad that the "Giles Acrylic" name has caught on!

Just wonderful, thank you. And here I thought it was maybe a little extreme to travel to Toronto and New York for a total of two shows, but it turns out I'm a filthy casual!
But they were excellent gigs, weren't they? I haven't shared my impressions here but I thought the band were in top form. These shows were certainly a contrast to the one I attended last year, with the string section, multi-level stage and overall much more elaborate production, but still great concerts. I was a little surprised they didn't use more of their visuals but it doesn't seem to have been a bad decision.
I'm sorry to hear you had such an ordeal escaping Toronto, only to go through another ordeal in Brooklyn. I have nothing more than minor quibbles, like the impossibly long queue for the lone merch table in Brooklyn.
