I'm more convinced than ever that a new album is on the way. Why make a new site ?

Yeah, they haven't had a mailing list since the days of PulpPeople, have they? Positive signs...

VERY good point. They've been playing shows again for nearly a year now, why bring out a mailing list just for touring...

Jarvis' re-post on the Amsterdam gig/mailing list contains the below clarion call. Sure, there's probably some sales-pitch in there but the guy sounds Pulped-up:

The songs came back to life & they want to be heard.
They need to be heard.
Again & again.
Now more than ever.
To keep us warm.
To help us remember what the point is.
Come out & have some fun with us.
You deserve it.

Yes.

You do.

Yeah, that's true... let's see what happens during this year and the next one, so excited about this! If finally a new album IS announced, i wonder if they're about to re-use songs from other eras that are unreleased as a kind of 'rebirth'... it's a crazy point but would be amazing for sure.

I'm waiting for the day Background Noise will appear on ASCAP...
Hymn of the North is already there but it is not listed as performed by PULP...yet.

and there's a lot of songs I've never heard of

I'm very excited about the new mailing list and what it might mean!

The band continue to tour but there are sizeable gaps, which definitely lends well to writing new music. They have plenty to inspire too; the state of the country, loss (tributes to lost friends and family), and nostalgia could all feature as themes.

I wonder if the upcoming festival shows could reveal further, new songs
