hello all getting ready to head out on this beautiful saturday night and Pink Glove just came up on my playlist - feels like a very fitting getting ready playlist song (idk maybe kind of obvious but sartorial song titles really do it for me)
wondering what other pulp songs fit the bill in your opinion?
Well for me it starts off with OU live from the Fox Theatre in 2012- Disco 2000 from V96 and then Pink Glove from Glastonbury 1995 all played very loudly, them I'm pumped- I like the energy of live performances - Plus Pink Glove is my favourite song of all time, different versions fit different moods for me
ok true true re: party hard. wow both of you chose tunes that gets you ready to go out, whereas i think my choice gives away what i like most about going out which is choosing an outfit/doing my makeup lolol come to think of it, pencil skirt is another sartorially titled pulp fave of mine but the vibe is not quite the same
I just like pretending Im in the Disco 2000 vid when Im getting ready to go out. More generally, I would love to have a few life-sized b&w DC cutouts of the band in random places around the house. Not Jarvis though - might give a TFI Friday vibe to visitors
