You might already be aware there is a page on PulpWiki where you can share your memories of how you discovered Pulp. What was your first Pulp single or album? Where did you first see Pulp play live? And so on.

The idea for this new page came from Nick Banks' publisher and I was happy to set it up and hopefully provide a bit of promotion for So It Started There.

Nick supplied his own memories of discovering Pulp here.

I just want to point out it's there in case anybody here would like to add their own memories. It's possible to include a photo as well if you like. Nick promoted it on his Twitter/X a few weeks ago, which got a good response, but it would still be nice to see more contributions.

The page will remain on the wiki and stay open for new contributions indefinitely.

Mine is embarrassingly basic! I just sort of heard Common People on Spotify, and over time, listened to more of the Pulp singles, and then eventually it became this big thing!

I will add that my girlfriend, when I started dating her last autumn, said "I think it's really cool that you like Jarvis Cocker". May have got me in even deeper, to be honest...
