Sorry, you really have to squint to read those pages!

You're right, there is a clarity and relatability to his anecdotes and thoughts. Even though he's a regular Tweeter, that format doesn't reflect it as much.

It is interesting that Nick says it was Geoff Travis who told the group in 2002 that they were effectively splitting-up. Not that surprising though, given the types of personalities involved. Musicians, eh?!

I remember Jarvis saying that being able to capture the awkwardness and truth about relationships was incongruous to his own, as his then partner would always tell him that he never says how he feels. Don't think it was personal, Camille, the rest of the band/presumably friends and fam felt similar!
