Any chance of the band recording another album or releasing new music?

To be honest, it would take a good three-five years out of your life to write, record, release, and tour it, and you think: Gosh, its hard enough to get together to rehearse and play a few gigs, let alone work out what were going to be able to do to make a new record, so I think it would be highly unlikely.

Nooooooo!

Although, as others have said on here before, take what Nick says with a table of tablesalt.

Great interview, though, some stories I'd never heard about. Looking forward more to his book now.

Well, the book is sounding good at least. Looking forward to that. And that remark might be just throwing people off the scent ;)

"Highly unlikely" doesn't mean it's impossible. We can dream.

Aye. Well, his answer addresses the question of an album, but the arguments wouldnt necessarily apply to a single, or two, or an EP. And he treats the truth like the showman he is

Lightning Seeds wrote, recorded and toured See You In The Stars in roughly 2 years......the fact we got Hymn Of The North, randomly played at Sheffield and London considering it was unknown by us all, especially to end a show with.....nah, I think Nicky is pulling our plonker. What better way to deflect a surprise , by denying it....
