The only Barnsley reference that comes to mind is when promoting Further Complications on 6Music on Marc Riley's show (incidentally, Lard has just hosted his last in-session 6 show, the powers that be have bundled him and Gideon Coe as co-hosts on reduced hours), Riley asked Jarvis what it was like working with Steve Albini before doing a hilarious "Albini if he was from Yorkshire" accent. To which Jarvis replied, "Why do you think he's from Barnsley?!".

 I wasn't going to listen as I just thought it would be depressing, but saw it was 2-0 at half time, so 2 more in the second half would level the game. Apparently Darren Ferguson is moaning about the goal scored in Fergie time. Listened to the extra time on TalkSport and kept refreshing Twitter madly through the penalties, which was well ahead of the commentary and a lot less stressful. We had an epic semi against Brighton a few years ago and lost a bit meekly in the final to Hull. Don't want to play Barnsley, sounds like a real banana skin that. Apparently Darren Moore has been playing them videos of epic comebacks all week to get them psyched up, so maybe he can even conquer Barnsley.

We had it on in the car on the way home from Yorkshire. Husband was very concerned I might crash the car if they scored, so luckily it was very dull until the very last second. Seemed very harsh on poor Barnsley, but I'm not going to worry about that now, we did finish 10 points above them.
