Tonight, Pulp play in Steve's home city.

It's a nice opportunity to remember an amazing man and musician.

A few days ago, Katie shared these photos of her and Steve's wedding.

Dear Steve,

It's been a long time since I met you in a DJ set with Jarvis at XOYO, Old Street that Midsummer's Night.

Punters and I danced all night to your tunes, just next to the DJ booth.

It was the same year that St. Martin's School of Art in Charing Cross Road turned into a bookshop.

Jarvis gave an illustrated talk there, with his book. I thought of Moomin Summer Madness.

In my mind Snufkin has Jarvis's face. I drawn a picture of Snufkin playing his flute.

After the happy night has ended in the early morning, I said hello to you and Jarvis.

I gave my drawing to Jarvis. He and you liked it. I was glad for that as well.

Steve, I still have the 'I'm Desperate' badge you gave me that morning. My treasured Pulp memorabilia.

Remember Brixton Academy Xmas 1995, 'Desperate for Christmas'?

Then, I was so excited about July 2023 reunion. It's been a long wait, I hoped to see you to play your bass guitar.

To my I learned you have just gone to Heaven! ... My God. Help us. It's too early.

I have been to Finsbury Park 1st July like 23 years ago. Candida is beautiful in silver mermaid dress. You weren't there.

Jarvis, Pulp and us paid a tribute. Something Changed.

I went to Glasgow, visited King Tut's night before where Pulp played many decades ago. It started there, in Scotland.

I went to Pulp's headline at TRNSMIT Festival on 7th July. Glasgow Green gig was great. You weren't there.

In Japan there's a legend that parted couple on each side of Milky Way are able to cross the river in the sky meet on the night of 7th July.

It was hot clear night after the gig, I couldn't see you.

On 28th July I went to Apollo Hammersmith, I lost my friend in the crowd. And heard Jarvis says, Steve's wife is here tonight. Alright.

Steeeeeeeve, welcome home. We love yooooou!

All three gigs were amazing, brilliant and Pulp family reunited and so did we Pulp fans. And I felt like reliving my 90's again, the best and

worst era of my life. I tried and survived to see Pulp alive with fellow Pulp punters.

Steve, Watch over us from up above.

Those are very lovely pictures of Steve and Katie ... looks so happy. I hope Katie had a nice time watching Pulp played in Apollo on 28th July

as Jarvis mentioned. It was an amazing concert and I felt Steve's spirit watching us all from up above.

I wish Katie and Steve's family and friends all the best after we heard of him passing in March.

Much too soon. But fond memories.

Just realised looking on Instagram, that tomorrow marks the first anniversary since Steve died.

Jesus, I can't believe it's been a year already.

A year, then. Rest in peace Steve.

Yesterday me and my gf ended up in the Lakes (TransPennine had a £1 ticket sale). We came down to Ullswater and everything was blanketed in snow. It looked beautiful and surreal.

Until the mist came down we were thinking of climbing a fell that happens to be called Sheffield Pike.

I thought about Steve a lot yesterday. So unfair that he's gone.
