I don't have a copy of this promo, does anyone know what it's like? The info on Discogs suggests that it's a simple radio edit but would that warrant crediting someone else?

I sold this on ebay last year, think it went for just shy of £40. Its a lovely looking CD, that fits in nicely with the actual releases. Its a pretty piss poor effort of an edit to be fair, it cuts out literally half of the song. When it gets to the second "you didnt notice me at all", its basically cuts out the next chorus as well as the "you paid your money and taken your choice" and goes straight into the next "lets all meet up" part. Ill try dig it out.

I used to own this CD, too... I sold it back in the early 2000s as it wasn't terribly exciting! Here's my FLAC copy of the track. It's the 7" Mix and Scott describes the edit perfectly.

n.b. It's got a different timing to what Giles has listed on Acrylic Afternoons, it says 3:11 but I think that's a typo for 3:31, which is what Discogs says.

Whilst we're here... I'm very intrigued by the radio edit of Lipgloss, which again I've seen at Acrylic Afternoons: CIDDJ 567 apparently. I've had eBay and Discogs searches running for years but that's never shown up. Has anyone heard it?

Thanks for sharing.

I haven't heard the "Lipgloss" edit. I'm sure I have got a "Lipgloss" promo somewhere but I think it's a 12" which features the album version and the b-sides.

I also have a radio edit of "The Fear" which was released in the US. It's the same as the album version but fades out earlier. I will see if I can dig that out too.
