There's suggestion he played 2 songs at that Birdlife event. I wonder was the other one Birds In Your Garden (thematically similar and very melodic like Cuckoo...maybe it actually bumped Cuckoo off consideration for We Love Life ...and also a good one to play solo on an acoustic guitar).

Can't believe no footage has emerged, it would be great to see.

Still dreaming a new album that would include all the leftovers from TIH (the demos released in 2006) and WLL demos. There's enough material and it would make a great record.

Just have to do it !

I mean, you are the one, street operator, After you (new version, wasn't too keen on the 2012 one), Got To Have Love, Quiet Revolution, Cuckoo song... already got half on a great record. Such a waste.

Or release a WLL box set, dammit.

I sound angry but actually i'm pretty pleased since Jarvis has released a lot of stuff the past months. But we want more, always, right ? :D

Honestly compared to the leaked demo I can't stand it....the way the demo builds up & gets going is so life-affirming. I really don't like it, sorry :(

It's a different mood, very much an intimate solo-take. I'm glad different versions exist. Fingers-crossed another one emerges in 2023.

I just can't help but think a real (Chris Thomas?) version might have been that No1 Jarvis so sought in the day? Sadly a No1 would mean nothing in today's climate

I totally agree with James on this one. When I saw this topic, I was expecting a lot more whereas this version sounds like a home demo
