I found this video of Jarvis explaining his memoir's premise. It doesn't have any new info, but it's only a minute long, so why not watch it.

I've been excited about the book for a while, I guess since back when it was called 'This Book is a Song'. Sounds like it has an interesting and creative idea behind it. It'll be available in hardback, eBook, and audiobook. Kinda wish there was a mass-market paperback just because they're cute and can fit into a pocket, but hey, I'm not picky! I'll probably get the hardback but if Jarvis is narrating the audiobook (I assume so) then I might get that. I'll figure it out.

He also spoke a little about it on an Irish radio channel's arts programme a couple of weeks ago. Apparently the objects/stories discussed in the book, ends in the mid-80s. So anyone expecting to read a lot about Pulp or his private life over the past 30 years...prepare to temper your expectations.
Worth a listen particularly for the Pulp song they play at the end...

So shoe-horning him into Radio 4s 90s series is a bit random then, but who cares really if we get to hear him reading a bit of it.
