Great! From certain footage and sessions, I always got the impression they never quite practised enough in the early nineties. Fair play to Nick- Ed still used a drum machine on She's a Lady though, haha. I get the Trevor Horn reference- lots of reverb and depth. I also always heard a bit of a His 'n' Hers influence in Suede's Coming Up, especially the string sound on Trash.
