Very little Jarvis action really. Mostly a slightly cringey rewrite of Justified and Ancient. I wonder what year it was done though? It sounds a lot like Jarvis recent 'whisper' vocals.
Jarvis/Pulp surely nicked the title of Disco 2000 from the same name of an early KLF incarnation. Probably thought that as the riff "borrowed" from Gloria; and in recognition of that theft, the song had to be called something else second-hand!
