Actually, here's another female-led Seppy cover. Love Is Blind by The Bon Bon Club, (the drummer was in The Long Blondes). Kind of shows how hard it is to try a straight imitation of Jarvis. You need to be loose for the ad-libs and not be self-concious for the whoops and cries:

Ah, I liked the Bon Bon Club's cover. Their other tracks were good too, in a similar, Pulp-drenched style. That's all they did though, wasn't it? The one EP. A post-Long Blondes project wasn't it?
Even better that the Love is Blind cover was produced by Alan Smyth!
