Just on way home from seeing this, great to meet and accompany JayJay of this parish. Great show, Jarv and the Is'es in fine form. Played for over an hour and a half. Setlist has been shake-up for 2019.

The best news - a new song to add to the lot played last year and it's a focking banger. Dancing To House Music All Night Long - it's got a recycled synthy bit from Death II and like the first time I heard Swanky Mode, its got that shimmering instant quality. Some great lyrics including the kiss-off last line about domesticity which recalls HisnHers.
Homewrecker is in (with Emma on sax!) and Fat Children out!
Big Julie in!
And the surprise Pulp song was.......My Legendary Girlfriend (to keep the Seppy theme)!
Great to hear it but in the intro, where Jarvis introduced it as having not played it in 25 years, I thought I was hearing the opening strains to The Babysitter. At this point he also mentioned Candida being in the audience.
The venue was tiny, like a village hall or pub's back room, 250 capacity so it was a privilege to see him in the smallest place he'll play all year and also with a full set.
** Fuck, I forgot Mary by Relaxed Muscle in the encore! Introduced it as being appropriate to East London, was thinking it might be Mile End especially with a violinist in Emma but Mary sounded absolutely fantastic! Jarvis didn't have time to don the warpaint though.
