I have been going through my Pulp collection and have identified a few duplicates. I am wanting to sell the extra records I own. Before putting these on eBay I though I would give you all a chance to possibly get them at a better price.
If you have any questions, please post them on this thread so other users can see the answers.
If you wish to make an offer for any/all of these records, please send me a private message before Friday 19th January. After this, anything that has not received (sensible) offers will go on eBay. Payments will need to be by PayPal and I can post to the UK only.
I don't have copies of My Lighthouse & Everybody's Problem, and I'd love to make a sensible offer, but sadly I'm just about broke. If it's allowed, can you post your ebay links here when you list them?
I saw a copy of My Lighthouse' for sale in a record shop in 2003 for £30, which I thought was a rip-off - since regretted that.
BTW the deadwax etchings "A Porky Prime Cut" "Two Boxes" etc. are original and don't detract from value.
Yes, I will post the links no problem. By all means if you want to contact me before weekend with an offer then I'd consider it. The worst that can happen is I will say no and I wouldn't take offence at low offers.
I would have certainly grabbed "My Lighthouse" for £30. I have seen it go for treble that. Speaking of which, there is an "Everybody's Problem" on eBay for £110.
Ian - just to reassure you, those etchings in the run-out grooves are meant to be there. The engineers who master the records sometimes like to put their own 'signature' on the lacquer. The "A Porky Prime Cut" is quite a famous one and appears on many records. I think they add character to the item and are a good feature.
Original pressings of Freaks had "Hey, we're all freaks inside!" on side one, and then "End of part three..." on side two - nice touch.
Just to let you all know - I am a bit busy at the moment so I won't be able to get these on eBay for a couple of weeks. Feel free to send offers in the meantime, I have updated the list.

I can't say I have ever noticed them before. I will have to check my other copies as well as "Freaks". But yes, I agree, they are a nice touch.
Man, I would have loved to make you an offer on My Lighthouse & even more so Everybody's Problem, but I've spent an awful lot of money on instruments over the last 18 months-ish so couldn't.
What I do want to say is this: Thank you for posting here first, before going to eBay - for preferring the true fans over the highest bidder. Prime example of how to behave in a fan community!
Not the first time Pulp fans have proven themselves to be the best (:
