Did you listen last week to the Sunday Service? Normally Jarvis says goodbye for the summer and tells us that he will be back in September. But this time ist was different. "We will meet again. Don't know where, don't know when"

Yeah he'll be back!!! Enjoyed the final episode - wish wish wish that Peter and Jarvis might have reminisced about the Pulp covers they did - though it was a Manchester special...another time perhaps.

PS. I was thinking about this the other day - did Pulp Hits ever come out on vinyl?

Maybe Jarvis needs time off from the Sunday Service to work on that book of his that was reported on earlier this year?

Also he's added a couple more photos from his early days on Instagram. Priceless!

For what it's worth, I'd date this at mid-1980, around the same time as they played Rotherham Arts Centre: if it was any later it'd probably have Jim Sellars and/or Jamie Pinchbeck there, and if it was any earlier Jarvis would have had wire frame specs rather than the more familiar NHS type.

I really do have too much Pulp in my head. At this point it's not gonna go away, is it?
