Hello, Pulp people, I need your help. 2 years ago Jarvis made a very nice Sunday Service on the 7.6.2015. In his rubric "On this day" he mentioned a lot of people who had birthday on this day: Liam Neeson, Tom Jones, Prince (and a lovely lady here from the forum)
After that he played a mash up of "Kiss" sung by Tom Jones and Prince. That was very well made and I'm surching for this version. Can anyone help me? Please!!!
You could trying asking the JCSS archive. This looks like the episode you are looking for. The links expire after a while, but can be uploaded again when the author has time.
Oh Fran, thank you so much. It was exactly this show and it was brilliant because I wrote the whole time with Panther, it was her birthday and we had such a good time while we were listening.
The only thing is: how can I contact the author? I couldn't find a contact link on the page.
I think you just post a comment on the blog, it looks like this page is set aside particularly for listeners. The author talks a little bit about herself in the post labelled xxx down the bottom of the sidebar, sounds to have had a rough year.
I wish there was more warning when Sunday Service was going Jarvis-less!
It's a big part of my weekend, and it's always a shock when he blurts it out at the end. There are always some great guest presenters, so I can look forward to that I suppose.
I had a suspicion the last time as I'd seen something about a guest presenter before Jarvis announced on his show that he'd be taking a break, but this time was a surprise. Seems like he just got back!
