Self Promotional Post - SORRY!

Essentially I have a radio show where I do a timeline of British Music from Merseybeat/ British Invasion to Britpop and given that I love Sheffield's music scene around 1980 I did a show all about it. It's not just the obvious stuff like Human League and Heaven 17 but I have included some pretty obscure bands too (I'm So Hollow, Scarborough Antelopes, Disease...) and even an early Pulp B-side (You'll have to tune in to find out which). If you're interested - maybe you lived it all first hand, could you give it a listen?

CLICK HERE TO LISTEN AND I'LL BE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL

(If you're in Sheffield, you might see these start to pop up in places)

I had a listen to some of it, great choice of Pulp song there! Also nice to hear Artery.

Thanks - There Was really doesn't get enough attention. In my opinion it's better than half the songs on It

Ok, it works with Google Chrome not with Mozilla. I have to listen to it later, but I like the first the song already.

I agree. I think it doesn't get much attention because it will always be overshadowed by "Everybody's Problem". Kind of like "Silence" getting more attention than "Manon", really.

Really good selection of stuff there, well done Jazza. Always nice to get a slightly different slant to that period, rather than just sticking Bouquet of Steel on!
