Oh, Jarvgirl, you should deffo have your whiskey but I'm afraid I hate it so I'll have to have something else. I love beer, actually. I grew up in a town with its own special brewery so maybe that's why. Also, I am allergic to all wine apart from Champagne. Sounds like snobbery, I know, but it's true!
I wonder who'll get drunkest first and be the funniest?
It would be wonderfully teenagery, behaviour-wise. I am old enough to know better but would be making up for lost time! We could pretend it was the '80s, before Jarv and Rich hit the big time. (Or were you not born yet?!)
Crickey. I had already graduated and was looking for a job in 1985!
One of my first musical memories is of Bowie on TOTP. Everyone talked about it in the playground the next day and, soon afterwards, one girl at primary school got an orange Bowie bog-brush haircut.
i was lucky in that, even though most of the 80's was awful music wise, my mum had a Dansette Appollo and records by the likes of The Who, The Jam, The Beatles (obv) Small Faces and The Kinks so I grew up a proper mod and totally ready for Britpop :)
now I've got her Dansette and most of her records! :)

I had an older brother who was very into music, so I learned about everything that had gone before - '50s, '60s and '70s stuff - by hanging around with him.
