I've got a few of these, one of them being Michael Jackson - they gave him a shaggability rating of 8 which makes me throw up a little bit in my mouth.
All I do is click on attach images then choose one from my camera roll because I do it on my phone then wait for it to load in and press done or submit. Are you doing it from a computer? If so I'm lost.
ooh I'm in suspense now! I love a Jarvis quiz!

this is tricky because, you can usually go on specs to date pics. It's probably not 95 because in 95 Jarv had a longer fringe and he wore pointy or wayfarer specs.
its not much pre 95 because you wouldn't catch Jarv with Specs much in the media (he was going through his self induced butterfly morphing phase)
He's got his eye bags (I'm sorry, Jarv) so it's not v early.
ok so I'm going for 98/99ish. Those glasses look like Cutler & Gross from the curve of the hinge, the hair is in it's excellent "I don't give a fuck" stage plus he's stubbly and he doesn't look trollied.
are we thinking along the same lines?

I don't know the date of either. What I mean is that I would suspect that the second pic is quite early because the jacket Jarvis is wearing looks like this one, worn at this 1994 concert:
Even though, of course, he could have worn the same jacket later on (in the 98-99 period, as you suggest) he didn't tend to do that. Usually there were certain outfits for certain years. Assuming then that the second photo is early (ie 1994) we may wonder if the first photo is early, too, given that the glasses look the same.
This is a bad quality screen grab from a video I was just watching of Jarvis in 1995 (BI won't let me post it grrr) it's basically proving me wrong in every way. Thanks Jarv.
I believe that the pic you asked about was taken either on the day of this interview or very shortly after/before. The anomaly to my reasoning below: just before Common People was released.
The glasses are different though, in the interview they are Wayfarers. Oh god. I still reckon this is possibly 95.

Well, when he was young, people used to shout "Oi, Jarvis" at him in the street and when I first met him a few years ago, I thought he looked like a young Jarvis Cocker (he is 10 years younger) but I didn't think anything of it at the time. But as I got to know him I found that his and Jarvis's mannerisms, facial expressions, accent, voice tone and even body language were amazingly similar, such that I used to wonder if they could be related...
Others say the same but perhaps it's just a question of Yorkshire genes.
Naturally, I think Jarvis is like my friend rather than the other way round!
Nowadays, they are not as alike to look at, as my friend is not as skinny as he once was and his hair has started to go curly, but they have the same vibe.
