Well, this is most curious.

About 8 years ago (yikes), I set up a Flickr account with the intention of scanning in and uploading a lot of old Pulp photos. I got as far as 1983 and then never got round to adding any more. Had a look today and someone appears to have logged in and added three previously unseen Marcus Featherby shots of the band from January 1982.

It's probably not that strange really - I did publicise the login details for the account at some point (which is probably a good thing because I no longer have any idea what they are). An intriguing possibility is that the photos were uploaded by Marcus Featherby himself - he did resurface a while back on Facebook.

Anyway, the Flickr page, for anyone who's interested, is here:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/pulpphotos/

And the photos are these:

Oh and unrelatedly, there's another shot that's surfaced from the Leadmill in '85:

Brilliant. Reckon we're a few shots away from being able to start a "Jamie Pinchbeck's eyebrows" Tumblr.

Ha! Poor Jamie.

The photos were taken in Jarvis' mum's front room incidentally. Wonder if that's one of mum's paintings on the wall in the second photo between Jamie and Jarv?

I wondered that, too.

Love the haircuts and the mohair jumper.

Early Jarvis reminds me of Buddy Holly. He would also fit in well in East London today :)

Yeah, every twenty-five year old in Shoreditch looks like a young Jarvis. It's like Cocker Village over there.

Haha I wonder what he thinks of everyone following his style now. They should definitely rename Shoreditch Cocker Village :)

i know! It's like a time warp. A nice time warp. Jarve must feel right at home, like The Godfather of Cocker Village.
