I'll have to listen again as I wasn't paying proper attention yesterday, building an Ikea table with my daughter at the time and missed the end altogether. It would seem quite a bombshell to drop in passing though, which is what this comment sounds like from what you've said.

No, he's doing next week, he was saying how he's got Brian Eno on, and a surprise.
Oh, yes, so he did. I guess what went through my mind was that he'd be away a bit over the festive period. But you never know with Jarvis. It could be anything. Like making a film or getting married or becoming an astronaut!
Anything which might imply Pulp working together again, though, is exciting, (even though I fear this is an unlikely interpretation). If he's making a film, then I want to be in it!
I know they were discussing doing more Pulp stuff and I know there's a Pulp2014 email account ( more to do with the film though) and I would LOVE more than anything to see them live again. BUT I would also really like to see another solo Jarv album and tour too! As long as Jarv is still doing anything that I can go to I'm happy!
OoH, I don't know, but I reckon that if there was going to be more Pulp concerts there'd probably have to be one at some point. It's the natural progression for reunited (I am NOT saying comeback. EVER.) bands isn't it? Do some touring, see what the reaction's like then release a toe in the water single and if that goes well: ALBUM.
I school I wrote a modern day Cinderella style fairytale, where the ball was a Pulp gig, the Prince was OBVIOUSLY Jarvis, and the glass slipper was a blue Adidas campus.
Mine is a ghost story (supernatural, yet funny, I hope) and it involves a Christmas Eve visitation (via the chimney, of course) by a scarlet corduroy-clad person from Yorkshire, bearing gifts...
How old were you when you wrote your Cinderella story?
Makes you wonder how many stories, songs, bands, paintings, outfits and so on, have been inspired by Pulp. I'm still on the lookout for the perfect black velvet suit...
Correct! Only one with that perfect drape and cut. I guess it was second-hand, not originally made for Jarvis, so I wonder who it belonged to first? Someone tall, obviously.
