I'm surprised we haven't had this before. Good idea for a poll.

The early 90's ones are so endearing. Creativity on a shoe-string. First Time is the only one I don't like - too dizzy and crap lip-synching. The Different Class videos, moreso the Pedro Romhanyi ones are Britpop-engraved by now and the later ones are a mixture of humour and high-art.

You left out the earlier ones, from Seppy and before. But I think it's got to be Babies #1

This is Hardcore is probably my favorite music video of all time but Babies (original) is a close second. The 2nd babies video is so disconcerting if only because of the amount of makeup they powdered onto Jarvis' face

I think we missed sorted (it's on hits dvd as I remember, but it's a glasto recording so it might not count) and the spoken word version of babies whose images seems the same as the later version of babies (so this is also kind of alright to leave out I guess). Chose TIH by the way.

Agree with what Tricia said. And dis donc, Eamonn, does seppy refer to seperations? Took me minutes to comprehend! How many of them are there? Manon, countdown and my legendary girlfriend are the only ones I've heard of.

 There's also a video for They Suffocate At Night and I presume we shouldn't count the early Super 8 films that the band made to accompany songs, like the Shakespeare Rock we aw at the Arena gig.

TSAN / Manon / MLG / Countdown should be on there, surely, though only one of them is any good.

Votes for This Is Hardcore, wish I could vote for Babies (1992) too, even Babies (1994) is brilliant.

Bad Cover Version is funny, but surely doesn't bear repeated viewings. Worst is The Trees, really half-arsed job there.

TSAN and MLG are both half a good video.

I like the Party Hard vid, it's simple but it works.

This is quite a toughie, in't it? I suppose my avatar dictates I vote Common People...

I find it slightly difficult to separate fondness for a song from impression of a video. I think I might have to go for the original Babies vid though. It's just so... Pulp.

Thank you Violin Thing, that you reminded me to the video of "Little soul". I know a poor child like this, and when I saw this video for the first time, it made me cry. I think, I've pushed that in the back of my mind, surely, because it was so sad. But this video is very well done, does anyone know something about the casting of the children?
