Thanks for your help earlier in the summer with the photograph suggestions.
We are looking for a few Pulp fans for a series of interviews that may be included in the official pulp film currently in production.
We need specifically Sheffield based die hard fans with local accents who are available on the likely shoot date which is Saturday 7th, with a meeting before on the Friday.
If you fit this bill please get in touch with me asap on orlandogili@gmail.com.
I've sent an email but no response yet. I'm pretty busy this weekend but I'll try and take part if they want me. This year marks the 20th year of me being a Pulp fan so I suppose that represents a landmark of sorts.
Well if they don't, I think they're in the wrong business. Now practice saying 'rayt gud' for the next few days to get rid of all that horrible West Yorks in yer.
Well she never asked on phone forgot but sent and email asking if I'd be willing and i had to say not really but if they still want me then of course I'll go along.
Do you have to re-enact scenes from Pulp songs? Common People, Disco 2000 might be OK. But then there's Pink Glove maybe, Acrylic Afternoons, let's not think about This is Hardcore ... . Or maybe you will just have to make a garden in a tower block flat, that would be fun!

I have my email with all the details too so I'll see you on Sunday jarvgirl and the best thing is that mester ses I don't have to do THAT thing. Oh, and fran you're way off!

Hooray! Mester is rayt gud. He's got summat extra planned for me and my rare ace mate.
If anyone's interested, Flo gave Cherie the password to watch Love Story. It definitely gives you an idea of how he works, and we both really enjoyed it.
Oh it's "Flo" already now, is it? Someone has got their feet fully under the table with this.
Liltman, I did shout you out on the first page but I guess you don't check on here as much as, ahem, others.
They invited me up due to my obscure fan suggestion of getting some of the Day That Never Happened footage in there but I don't really have the money for a weekend in Sheff. Just as well I guess. Don't think I would have been able to pull-off even a northern accent anyway successfully.
Cheers Eamonn, I've got a bit slack at checking things on here due to the band's inactivity. Not sure I'd have had the guts anyway, me and some others were filmed for Julien Temple's Glasto film and we must have bored them to tears as they never gave us a release form to sign!
Is this going to be tasteful or fans making fools of themselves?
Well, that remains to be seen. I know I couldn't do what was asked.
To dress-up as a duck? I know it can be used in t'north as a term of affection but that aside the only Pulp links I can think are in the lyrics to Love Love and Duck Diving, those er, two well-known number one hits.

Look, I'm sorry but I just don't like ducks! There I've said it now.
I honestly don't know how we could possibly make fools of ourselves! Dressing up as Russell throughout the years and riding round on plastic ducks while singing MasterOf The Universe seems perfectly normal to me.
I was chuffed to hear about the film being made, then read an article about it a while ago and was really looking forward to seeing it, now been 'teased' about it on here by participants and am thoroughly excited x)
I was filmed for this on Saturday too - different bit from the rest of you though I think so i still don't know what you're on about! They plonked me in front of some vinyl in Rare n Racy and made me do a 5 minute potted history of Pulp, then a few general talking head type questions. For various reasons I could only do about 20 minutes so it was a bit rushed, don't know if they'll use it to be honest, but it was fun to do!
Apparently they were interviewing Jarvis upsairs straight after me so why they didn't ask him to do the potted history bit I don't know. I must admit I did hang around the shop for a few minutes afterwards but didn't catch a glimpse of him. I did, however, coincidentally bump into Charlie Collins (of Venini / ClockDVA fame) for the first time since 1999!

Yeah they told us they'd interviewed Jarvis the day before, that's why they moved us, because Jarv had been to a wedding the night before so was in Sheff anyway.
Really intrigued about this film now, sounds ace. Reckon they'll have some sort of a launch party or anything when it gets screened? You'd be surely on the guest list for your efforts if so!

I imagine there's big chunks of the mid-eighties and mid-nineties missing/erased from Jarv's memory for various reasons and you'd make a far better job of it, Mark.

i think it will depend on who end's up in the final cut. It just depends who he decides will go in. I'm assuming they'll then be invited.
I have to say, he's so lovely. Because he asked us to do extra filming with him he insisted on giving me money for lunch and that night he sent us a lovely message on Facebook (we're friends) to say thanks (can't tell you exactly what he said). Considering changing my name to Flogirl
